Copart team members in Oregon recently assisted one our Sellers with a spectacular vehicle recovery mission. The effort required a heavy lift helicopter to retrieve a fallen truck from a 1,000-foot canyon in the Callahan Mountains. In partnership with T&M Towing and Croman Corporation, the team was able to safely recover the vehicle.

Copart’s Business Process Development (BPD) Department took time in lieu of their quarterly potluck to start a new tradition of giving. The team purchased, packed and personally delivered 46 care bags to Austin Street Center, a local homeless shelter in Dallas, TX.
Each bag held essential items specifically designed for men and women in need of immediate assistance. From water bottles to canned tuna to hygiene products, the BPD Team thought of it all. They were even able to pack a few dog food bags for our furry friends!
The team was pleased to lend a helping hand in their community and quickly realized this opportunity was a great team building activity that they plan to continue going forward.Copart is always looking for new talent to join our growing team. Copart brought 26 team members from its IT Team to compete in Marco Polo World Foundation’s 12th Annual Dragon Boat, Kite, and Lantern Festival in Irving, TX.
The dragon boat race provided an excellent opportunity for these coworkers to build culture of teamwork and dedication. The team also set up an information booth at the event to speak with attendees about career opportunities at Copart.
The festival showcased traditional food, performances, dragon and lion dances and activities from various Asian-Pacific countries.
Marco Polo World Foundation’s mission is to promote and showcase international culture and promote volunteerism. They provide scholarships to students who make significant contributions to the community through volunteering as well as academic or athletic excellence.
This June, Copart Brazil held its first auction in the state of Minas Gerais in the city of Betim, a metropolitan area of Belo Horizonte. The event took place in the modern entertainment center Monte Carmo Shopping, one of the most popular locations in the region. The auction was a great success, online and offline. We congratulate and thank all those who contributed to the success of this new stage of our business!
For the fourth year in a row, the Copart Crashers and Crushers competed at Vogel Alcove’s Dodge for a Cause Dodgeball Tournament! The event was held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX with 32 sponsored teams in attendance.
In addition to the sponsorship of both teams, Copart raised $877 to donate to Vogel Alcove’s mission of helping children and families facing the traumatic effects of homelessness.
