The 12-15 month program kicks off with a 4-week training at Copart headquarters in Dallas, TX. From there, candidates will relocate to one of Copart’s more than 170 U.S. locations, where they’ll gain invaluable experience in a variety of positions and get hands-on training with cutting-edge technology.

Copart Careers: Offsite Operations Manager

Offsite Operations Manager (Davenport, IA)

Copart is looking for a customer service industry leader to manage the operations of our two call centers and two customer transaction centers located in Eldridge, IA. This position will manage 70+ team members to meet customer needs while maintaining company standards for policy, quality and service. This person must be goal-oriented, innovative and effective in implementing policies. This position will be based out of our Iowa corporate office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  •  Review revenue and costs on a monthly basis for accuracy and opportunities.
  • Build relationships with members and sellers to manage customer satisfaction.
  • Hire, train and develop staff to meet company guidelines; providing direction to the team regarding duties and goals.
  • Responsible for overall management of the day-to-day operations of the facility including staff management and customer and employee issues as needed.

Supply Chain Analyst (Dallas, TX)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identify opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve business performance, deliver services with maximum efficiency and utilize knowledge of mathematical modeling and other optimization methods to perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Asses data analysis requests obtained from management to determine operational problems and define data modeling requirements, validation of content, and problem-solving parameters.
  • Develop practical solutions using statistical analysis and simulations (Discrete Event, Agent-Based and System Dynamics)
  • Advise managers and executives on best practices
  • Analyzes and designs a sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in operation facilities and equipment layouts, and establishes methods for maximum utilization of facilities and personnel.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years prior work experience in a Supply Chain Environment.
  • Experience with at least one of the following simulation software: Arena, ProModel, Anylogic, or Simulink.
  • Experience with Supply Chain Network Design models as well as Plant Distribution and Design Principles.

Payroll Clerk (Fairfield, California)

If so, Copart is looking for you. We are currently seeking a Payroll Clerk to support our Human Resources Department in Fairfield, CA.

The Payroll Clerk is responsible for maintaining all payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data using the ADP system. You will be expected to process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees, in addition to resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. You will also provide payroll information by answering questions and completing employment verification requests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Process involuntary garnishment requests
  • Audit all employee time cards on a regular basis
  • Complete federal and state required reporting
  • Ensure compliance with each state’s varying labor laws
  • Audit and process employee events such as new hires, salary changes, terminations, etc.
