Our Human Resources Team recently supported Copart IT with “IT Intern Day” at corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX. Hundreds of talented college students and graduates were invited to be interviewed by hiring managers across multiple teams within the IT Department.

Throughout the day, over 150 applicants were interviewed for several opportunities including internships in Software Engineering, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence and much more! During this all-day event, candidates were treated to breakfast and lunch and walked away with a deeper understanding of Copart and what we have to offer.

Coding Dojo Event (9)Copart Talent Acquisition Team hosted a Coding Dojo event for web developers at our Dallas Headquarters on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018.

Coding Dojo Bootcamps have over 3,000 proud alumni and “strive for teaching their students the most up-to-date programming technologies through effective methods.”

The group toured the Copart Headquarters and had the opportunity to speak with Copart Marketing, IT and Security Managers and other employees about their roles at Copart. During the presentation, participants also learned more about Copart as a company and received helpful guides and tips for career preparation.

Copart is currently seeking a Corporate Real Estate Intern to join their team at our headquarters in Dallas, TX for the spring and summer 2018 semesters. This individual must be highly-organized, comfortable with public speaking, possess strategic decision-making abilities and be passionate about corporate real estate, development and acquisition.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Research predetermined critical markets and analyze all aspects of each potential acquisition.
  • Organize and coordinate the property acquisition and development project pipeline
  • Manage multiple projects.
  • Assist in real estate acquisitions and the development of new facilities.
  • Assist with all property and development acquisitions.
  • Attend weekly land meetings with the executive team to discuss new markets and potential sites.

Copart Careers: Brand Marketing Intern

Brand Marketing Intern (Dallas, TX)

Copart’s Marketing Department is seeking a Brand Intern to join their team for the spring 2018 semester. This position will support all marketing and branding efforts, focusing on campaign management, copy writing, analytical investigation and customer surveys for a number of Copart brands.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Gather, generate and edit content for digital and print campaigns, video scripts and emails.
  • Report and analyze key metrics.
  • Contribute to Copart’s overall search engine optimization ranking and value through the management of pertinent location information on platforms such as Google My Business, Yelp Business and Bing Places.
  • Lead all individual and group inventory promotions.
  • Edit/manipulate graphic designs, layouts and images, as needed using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Assist in new location launches and education and reputation campaigns.
  • Write blog posts and feature-style pieces to highlight company, employees and other positive stories.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current junior or senior pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, general business, or related majors.
  • Graduate students or recent graduates.
  • A creative writing sample is required with application.
