Copart Employee submission: Boxes of Hope
Written by Customer Service Rep Beverly Faison from Copart Jacksonville North:
Giving and spreading love is what Christmas is about. This time of year, we give gifts to show our love to one another and as a reminder that we are loved. As you know, 2020 has been an unusual year dealing with the pandemic and the uncertainty of our economic future. Southpoint SDA Church Members along with employees of Copart Yard 163 united to provide boxes to our local homeless shelter (Trinity Rescue Mission) in Jacksonville, FL. The “boxes of hope” were filled with basic necessities along with crafts, games, and goody bags. The boxes were presented to the women and children at the shelter where a socially distanced distribution party took place.
I would like to thank the Southpoint Members, Troy Saunders, and the following employees at Copart Yard 163 for their contributions: Regional Manager Ken Houck, General Manager Mae Walkup, Office Supervisor Ashleigh Hubbell, Customer Service Representatives Angelina Bell and Corrina Howle, and Frank Lipko, CDS Representative. This is why Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year!
We thank Beverly and the team at Copart Jacksonville North for their commitment to giving back this year!.
