Throughout September, Copart HQ employees joined forces to feed kids and families with a protein-rich option for the school year. Team members collected over 500 lbs. of peanut butter for the Peanut Butter Drive benefiting North Texas Food Bank.
Why Peanut Butter?
According to Feeding America, there are more than 38,000 food insecure children in Collin County. Peanut butter, along with other nut butters*, is kid-friendly, nutritious and high in protein. It’s also a food that might be considered expensive, therefore not being a popular donated item.
