Copart’s Catastrophe Response Team (CAT) was stationed in Germany over the holidays. CSR Kayla Rostien from Copart Glassboro East took a moment to share her experiences working overseas.
Kayla started her trip to Germany in Bad Fallingbostel at our Hannover location where she stayed for one week. She then drove 9 hours south to our Stuttgart location in Weilheim an der Teck, Germany where she spent her remaining 3 weeks. Kayla was responsible for facilitating vehicle drop-offs, pick-ups, trip confirmations and gate passes.
Luckily, she was able to see experience some German culture outside of work. She went to a Christmas Market in Esslingen where she was happy to find the closest Starbucks! The team also enjoyed themselves at a beer garden in Munich
The CAT Team also traveled to France where they saw the Eiffel Tower and took a boat tour in Paris. Kayla admits Paris was definitely her favorite part of the trip. She even learned some to speak a bit of German and French!
