On the afternoon of Wednesday Oct. 10, Hurricane Michael, a powerful Category 4 storm hit the coast of Florida near Panama City and brought tremendous devastation to the area.
Our Catastrophe Response Team (CAT) and employee volunteers were prepared to assist Copart Tallahassee with disaster response efforts. The team received thousands of assignments and with the assistance of the CAT team, the response efforts were successful.
“On behalf Copart Tallahassee, we would like to take this opportunity to thank the Copart CAT Team for an excellent job. The CAT Team really came through, proving what it means to be a “team.” The extra effort put forth by every individual is greatly appreciated and acknowledged. This team has shown great leadership and dedication to get the job done.” -JP Nagel, Regional Manager
“Copart Tallahassee General Manager Alexis Figueroa and his management team appreciate the hard work that helped make this a successful CAT effort,” Nagel said.
