In 1998, Teresa Lamendol heard about an opening at Copart from a friend. Today, Teresa, DMV Title Clerk at Copart Little Rock, celebrates her 20th anniversary. Over the past 20 years, Teresa has exemplified what it means to be an owner and to celebrate our people.
In honor of her 20-year milestone, the team at Copart Little Rock celebrated with a cake and gave her a gift card. We got to learn more about Teresa and her commitment to Copart, her coworkers, and herself.
What has been your greatest accomplishment with Copart?
“Using the tuition reimbursement program, I received my bachelor’s degree in 2013 and I am one class away from completing my master’s degree. I received my B.S. in Management Information Systems and I have one class left for an M.S. in Management.”
Have your coworkers helped you achieve your educational goals?
“My AGM, Brian Anible, has been a constant source of encouragement with my education! He makes sure to ask me how it is going, encourages me when I want to give up, and helps with submitting the forms for the reimbursement.”
What is your favorite Copart memory from the past 20 years?
“The town hall meetings! I have always loved road trips, so it was a blast to get to experience that with my co-workers. It is a great way to get to know them better.”
What is your favorite Copart Value from the Mission Vision Values statement?
“My favorite would probably be ‘Celebrate our people.’ I think it’s great that Copart recognizes their employees for a job well done.”
What do you look forward to in the next 20 years?
“Advancing in my career.”
