Congratulations to Copart Middle East on its five-year anniversary in the UAE.
Copart Middle East, India and Africa CEO, Carlos Sabugueiro, treated employees to a special luncheon to mark the date. Copart CEO, Jay Adair, was present to celebrate the UAE’s five years since establishment. Adair spoke to employees about the important benchmarks of the past five years of operations and his vision for the direction of Copart Middle East, which includes Bahrain and Oman also, as it continues to cement its position within the salvage market.
Within the last five years, Copart Middle East has made great strides, and are following Copart USA’s journey, with about the same volume of vehicles that Copart had in 1987, after five years of operations. They’ve become the auction company of choice for the Dubai Police and two of the top three insurance companies in Oman, and they continue to increase their salvage market share.
Carlos Sabugueiro has led Copart Middle East since he joined Copart as CEO of the region in 2011. “Overall, progress is encouraging, and I know we’re not done innovating the market yet. There are further opportunities in the Middle East, and we’re prepared and focused on continuing our growth journey,” said Sabugueiro.
Copart currently operates locations in the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Bahrain. To view their current available inventory, please visit CopartMEA.com.
