Copart locations across the country often welcome local police and fire rescue teams to hold trainings to practice life-saving rescue techniques in a safe environment.
On Saturday June 17, Yard 165, Pittsburgh East, hosted a training event for the Hempfield Township Bureau of Fire. This event allowed 12 departments within the Hempfield Bureau of Fire to practice on high-strength alloy vehicles while evaluating new battery powered rescue tools for the Bureau.
The four-hour training involved over 20 participants who make up the 12 departments at the Bureau of Fire.
