Yard 29, Copart Columbus, welcomed 35 participants from municipalities throughout Central Ohio for extrication training.
On behalf of Nationwide Insurance and Bowling Green State University (BGSU), Copart Columbus donated its yard for three days of training, volunteering 34 vehicles to be utilized for training purposes.
All involved deemed the training experience at the Copart yard a success. “Over the course of three days, we witnessed a training class that ran flawlessly on all sides,” said General Manager Ben Bower. “The Copart Columbus team was thrilled to be involved in every facet and looks forward to hosting the class in the future.”

It took the whole staff, Nationwide and BGSU months of planning to get ready for the event, and everything went smoothly for the local firefighters. This particular training helps trainees to expand their knowledge and skill-set in vehicle rescue missions.
