At the end of February, Yard 145 in Montgomery, AL had the opportunity to host an extrication training session for the Rolling Hills Fire Department.
Extrication training is an important training exercise for fire and rescue teams, and it gives emergency workers hands-on time to practice life-saving rescue from vehicles in the event of an accident. Select salvage units at Copart locations can offer a true-to-life training experience for teams in a controlled environment.
Copart strives to be an active member of the communities where we have locations, and we’re always excited to have the opportunity to host local law enforcement, fire, and rescue teams. “It was a wonderful feeling to be able to give back to the community,” Patricia Kaiser, General Manager of Copart Montgomery, said of the experience.
Patricia had support from Yard Manager Justin Clarke and Loader Operator Chuck Simmers, who stayed with her after hours and answered any and all questions from the department during training.
