Copart Atlanta East Treats Seniors on Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is all about spreading love and happiness, and that’s exactly what Copart Atlanta East set out to do for seniors at a local nursing home.

On February 14, the Employee Activities Committee at Yard 107 stocked up on sugary (and sugar-free) treats to share with seniors during lunchtime.

Here’s what some members of the team had to say about the experience:

“It’s absolutely wonderful that we’re able to participate in such a heartwarming event that showed our seniors that we’re thinking about them and that we care.” — Chad Alexander, Assistant General Manager

“It was uplifting to see so many seniors happy to have us give them candy for Valentine’s Day. The experience was amazing for me, and I would love to do it again.” — Gloria Schaffers, DMV Clerk

“The joy we saw on their faces and the spark we heard in their voices was a gift to us.” — Felicia Harris-Russell, Office Manager

The team members at Copart Atlanta East would like to thank the nursing home staff, who helped them prepare their gift bags and gave tips on the perfect treats.
