The IT Department at Copart is dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment and always looks for ways to develop cutting edge technology. But what does that really mean? How is that actually a part of our day-to-day work in the office?
We hosted our first Making Their Mark roundtable event with three of our experienced IT team members, Asma Qureshi, Luke Pfaff and Vladimir Safin to get to know what it’s really like working at Copart. Throughout the week we will feature what they had to say about different aspects of their experience working at Copart as well as what advice they offer IT professionals who want to work at technology companies like Copart.
Today, our Making Their Mark roundtable guests, IT team members Vladimir, Asma and Luke, give their advice on why they think it is important for any aspiring IT professional to work at a company like Copart.
Vladimir Safin, Software Engineer
“Working in IT means constant learning. Working at Copart gives you the opportunity to not only constantly learn about new products and technologies, but also be a part of creating and developing them from the ground up. This is crucial for any IT professional who wants to stay ahead of the curve.”
Asma Qureshi, Software Engineer
“I think that as an IT professional, working at an innovative and forward thinking company like Copart is exactly what you need to get a leg up. IT is a fast paced industry. It is driven by people who get bored easily and who love being at the forefront of the latest technology. This is exactly what Copart is all about. Copart allows me to do what I love and, the company is the right size, which means that every single employee makes a difference. I know exactly what my impact is for this company and that motivates me even more to do my best.”
Luke Pfaff, Project Manager
“Working at Copart sets you apart from other professionals in the IT world. Working at Copart has taught me how to use and learn about creating industry-leading technologies, and in turn, reduce inefficiencies, maximize results and have a unique background in much more than just one aspect of the IT world.”
