We’re excited for our Copart Raleigh General Manager (GM), Cordella Brown, who was invited to hold a position on the Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for the upcoming 2017 term!
Cordella, the Assistant General Manager (AGM) Ashley King and the team at Copart Raleigh enjoy being active in the Dunn Area Chamber. They recently hosted the Ewin Chamber of Commerce for an open house during their Customer Appreciation Day celebration.
Since joining the Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce as a general member alongside Ashely King’s involvement in local Chamber events, Cordella is proud to represent Copart on the Board of Directors in the next calendar year.
“I am excited and honored to have been asked to hold this ‘by invitation only’ position,” said Cordella. “I will fully and gladly represent Copart to the best of my ability.”
Cordella will be serving for one term and has the chance to be invited back for the next term. She will continue both her active involvement as a GM representing Copart as well as a dedicated Board member. Copart Raleigh enjoys partnering with their local Chamber of Commerce on events that bring the community together.
“Cordella’s invitation to join the Board of Directors by the Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce is pretty darn cool,” said Don Purdy, Copart Regional Manager of the Carolinas. “This truly is a testament to how Copart gets involved with the community and actively works with local community organizations.”
The local Chamber of Commerce is an important part of each community. Many local businesses are active members and because of this, relationships and partnerships are formed between members that make for an interdependent local business community. Copart encourages their locations to be active in both their community and with their local Chamber of Commerce. Across the country, Copart employees give back to local charities, participate in local community events and practice good corporate citizenship.
