Copart Brazil Raises Awareness

Copart believes in the importance in giving back to the community. Copart Brazil is participating in the National Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign during the month of October this year.

“Breast Cancer Awareness is an effort to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of breast cancer through education on the illness, its early indicators and support for treatment,” said Marcia Romanello Horacio Paciulli, Copart Brazil’s Human Resources Manager.

“The pink ribbon is the most prominent symbol of breast cancer awareness, and in many countries around the world, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” she continues. “In Brazil, we also participate in this month-long campaign and are proud to do so.  We have adorned all yards in pink and are proud to support such a great cause!”

We wear pink to both show support to those who are currently fighting breast cancer as well as raise awareness of this illness. While we can all do our part to show support in different ways, wearing pink as a Copart family is a way to begin the conversation and be aware of an illness that affects 1 in 8 women annually.

International Breast Cancer Awareness Day is a day where we hope to raise awareness on an international level of a cancer that affects thousands of women around the world.
