The Internship Experience: Software Developer

Amulya Merugu- I work as a software developer intern at Copart helping in the development of Web Applications using Ruby on Rails. This internship has provided me with valuable hands-on experience on the emerging technologies like Ruby on Rails and Angular JS, and a better idea about what knowledge areas and skills I should focus on.

It is a wonderful opportunity to learn and get a better understanding of the company culture. Other things that I have valued most about my internship at Copart include the nice and supportive working environment and the commitment to developing a robust, secure and scalable application. Through my time here, my manager and the members of my team have been very helpful and supportive every step of the way, which helped me gain new skills and experiences.

I can definitely say that my programming knowledge has been greatly enhanced. The Copart intern program has been very beneficial for me and my career. As a computer science graduate looking to progress in the field of software development, this program has given me the opportunity to utilize the programming and communication skills I learned through university and put them into practice in a working environment. It has also helped me to engage in a range of different activities and to gain valuable experience within the work place.
