The Internship Experience: End User Services

For students seeking real experience in many different facets of the corporate world, Copart is one of the best places to consider. From day one, our interns are exposed to the real time projects and duties of our different departments.  Lohit Adusumilli talks about his time as a Copart intern.

I interned at Copart this past summer in the End User Services department. I am currently a junior at Northwestern University majoring in economics and interning at Copart was my first real job. This position exposed me to the corporate world and I am happy to have had that initial experience in the friendly environment I found at this company. Despite the fact that this position was in a different area study than my major, I learned much about operations and management structures in my work with EUS.

I was immediately ushered into the daily proceedings here and felt like I was having an impact on the projects my team was working on. Additionally, my managers worked with me to give me tasks that were suited to my specific skillset and would help teach valuable skills for my future career. Working together with my team members and learning about what goes on behind the scenes of a company expanded my understanding of business operations. Overall, my Copart experience was all I could have hoped for my first job and it gave me great experiences to draw from for the future.
